I have found a couple of great sites for organic beauty product shopping, Love Lula  sells some gorgeous products. You can get your skin care, hair care, make up and body care products here, all organic, cruelty free. If you do not yet shop organically for your body, think about it- what does your lipstick, face cream etc actually contain? Can you pronounce most of the ingredients list? Most of the ingredients in general products are synthetic chemicals, preservatives or fragrances, many are known carciongens (cancer causing).  The quantities in the individual products themselves is small, but consider just how many products you actually use in your daily life. All these chemicals are not only found in beauty care, but in your cleaning products around the house, food and clothing. You wash your clothes and bodies in chemicals which are easily absorbed by the skin and build up in your bodies. You also flush these chemicals down your sinks for them to build up elsewhere. Do we really need all these chemicals and toxins? We managed without them for thousands of years, and now a days there are plenty of non toxic, chemical free alternatives.

 The ethical superstore is a great place to start for eco shopping, you can get househould items, cosmetics, books, food. Is a good starting point for seeing whats around. They deliver very quickly too, i have often purchased items from them.
